I am very interested in social media marketing. I believe it is a great marketing tool allowing you to expand your company image to a global market.

When you are an expert in your field, or just have something interesting to say, you can offer your market information that is relevant to them. People get to know you and how you work and think and become comfortable with you. At a time when they, or someone they know, require the benefits you offer, you are the first one they will think of.

There is so much to learn in social media marketing, which what makes it so fascinating to me, but there are quite a few great free webinars and seminars on this topic. I try to attend one or two a week right now, as this is a learning curve for me.

Starting A Business

Starting a business is very exciting and frightening at the same time. Even when you feel confident of your abilities, to actual promote them to people can be very hard. You have to believe in yourself, definitely obtain an education in starting and operating a business, and surround yourself with people who support you. Having just created my business, I know I could not have come as far as I have without this support and belief in me.

You definitely need business and marketing plans to help keep you focused along the way. Programmes today allow the opportunity to really be able to create your company image, and then once done, your marketing materials will have a consistent look. There are so many ways to find information on your target market so you can customize your marketing tools to them, as well as many ways to market those tools.

Also with today’s technology, it is much easier to manage databases, to be able define groups and send out custom merged letters/emails, keep track of progresses and projects. There is so much more.

As you can tell I love today’s technology and the way that you can create whatever you want. There is always something to learn, with new programmes and ideas, sometimes it can be overwhelming, but exciting at the same time.
